Uttaran is a long-running Indian soap opera that airs on Colors TV every Mon-Fri at 10 pm. It is among the most popular serials in India. Serial Concept: Uttaran is the story of two friends with opposite backgrounds. Tapasya is the daughter of a wealthy couple, Divya and Jogi Thakur, while Ichcha is the daughter of their poor, live-in domestic help, Damini Bharati. Endnote x7 mac. Jogi Thakur discovers that he had accidentally caused the death of Ichcha's father long ago. However, jealousy creeps into the girls relationship as Ichcha wins over Tapasya's family with her simple nature and good character. Divya's aunt Sumitra Devi (Nani), being resentful of Damini and Ichcha, poisons Tapasya's mind against her friend. Sumitra spreads rumors about Ichcha and Damini to Tapasya and she begins to hate her from that moment.
