Samsung’s one of the most popular high end smartphone, Samsung galaxy S2 has received a new Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean custom ROM. Now, you can upgrade this phone to a latest Android operating system by installing a new custom ROM Firmware on it.

Hi, I love this ROM, I only have one problem with it. A few times a day it askes me to unlock the simcard again. The phone doesn’t reboot or something, just the field tot enter the code appears. I have to unlock before I an do anything else. Things like email do get through in the mean time, but I can’t make a call. Strange, but even more strange is that when I enter my code, it unlocks again, while on top of the screen there is a message that the code is incorrect. It isn’t incorrect, otherwise it wouldn’t unlock, but why do I get that message?

And what do I need to do to get rid of the annoying error that causes the sim to lock? Is there anyone else with similar problems? Hello all, I'm very sorry if this was asked before, I tried doing a search function, but nothing came up. I really enjoy using my Galaxy SII, but lately, I've experienced a considerable amount of lag while using ICS. The phone will sometimes freeze for a few seconds, than come back to life. YouTube videos often 'stutter', but eventually play back smoothly afterword.

Still, this is very annoying. I know this is a pet peeve, but a phone with such a powerful processor should really not experience any lag at all. I realize that Jelly Bean corrects this so the phone is more 'smooth'. Is Jelly Bean scheduled to be released soon for the T-Mobile network? If not, my phone is rooted. I was looking at Jelly Bean ROMs, but most said they were unstable and not good to use permanently.

Is there any way of me installing JB on my phone so that I can use it permanently? I went ahead and moved this to the. Right now, I'm not sure if or when the S2 will get Jelly Bean on T-Mobile. I know it is rolling out any time now for the S3.

I don't know, but I hope the S2 developers may be able to use it to make a stable rom for the S2. You might try going to recovery and wiping cache partition and see if that helps with the lag you are having. Or try flashing Darkside Cache Wipe in recovery.
