So my current system is an i7 6700K, Gigabyte Z170x UD3 and GTX 1070. I can't use the 1070, so I will be using the Intel HD530 graphics that come with my CPU. I have tried using Sierra, which worked, but I couldn't get QE/CI to work resulting in horrible graphical performance, even with simple apps like Chrome or Spotify (slow performance, artifacts and glitches etc.) My plan for now is to use El Capitan instead, but I haven't used it with my current build. Would you guys say El Capitan has better support for the HD530 than Sierra has or not?

Also, I've seen some messages on TonyMac's site that I have to inject certain code into Clover, but after doing so it wouldn't boot using that config file.
